Osage Arts Community Day 1

I made it to the residency. The trek culminated with a drive down a steep and long driveway where several dogs greeted me. I am staying in one of the residences right along the river so there is plenty of scenery and light. I cannot lie, I feel a bit overwhelmed. I spend most of my days nitpicking things for my job at the museum. I am a curator of exhibits and exhibits are the last part of a very long creative process. Exhibit development has its creative moments but is relatively formulaic when compared to working in a studio. But now it’s time to be an artist. I'm off to make ‘to do’ lists.
